Q-Shop v2.5 beta released
February 19th, 2002.-
QuadComm Inc. announces that a beta of the new version of Q-Shop v2.5 is now available to all existing customers. As in previous major releases the software is available before its final release allowing customers to preview the new features and plan the migration of previous versions.
After listening to QuadComm's customer base a new set of features is expected to be available. The following is a preview of some of them:
- Added two new product images options: scrolling images without reloading page and list of images per product. New large image pop-up option for the new two options
- Added product availability field
- Added support for Paypal, WorldPay and Paybox (France)
- Added the possibility of displaying prices with VAT included (E.U.)
- Added minimum order cost
- Product name and price option name's text are now stored with the order to avoid changes in the orders when any of the values was changed later in the database
- Improved shop settings administration interface
- Improved code performance and error handling to improve final quality
- Fixed minor bugs
The beta program is available to existing customers. To participate in the program customer need to subscribe to the beta mailing list sending an email to qshop_beta-subscribe@topica.com (or accessing http://beta.quadcomm.com) and also sending an email to beta@quadcomm.com with a valid Order ID.
