What this privacy and cookie policy covers

This privacy policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that you may enter when on the QuadComm site or via email. The policy also gives information about cookies; QuadComm's use of cookies; and how you may disable such cookies.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that operates web sites linked from this web site or any of our clients.

Information collection and use

QuadComm collects personally identifying information when you order products from QuadComm or when via the QuadComm contact form or via pages on our web site email.

QuadComm may use the information you supply to customize the content you see in order to provide you with information, and to contact you about, services and for feedback. If you do not wish to be contacted by us you can request it.

You may request deletion of your submitted details to QuadComm by email or via the QuadComm contact form. Note however that information may possibly remain in our archived records after your details has been deleted. Information provided when placing orders will not be deleted for legal reasons.

Non-individually identifiable information collected automatically

In some cases, we may collect information about you that is not individually identifiable. Examples of this type of information include the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using and the domain name of the web site from which you linked to our site or advertisement.

Information sharing and disclosure

QuadComm will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.

QuadComm may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

  • We have your consent to share the information;
  • We need to share your information to provide the service you have requested;
  • We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of QuadComm to provide a product or service to you; (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, any legitimate request by authorities with which we must comply or legal process; or
  • We find that your actions on our web sites violate the QuadComm Terms and Conditions or any of our usage guidelines for specific services.

QuadComm may transfer information about you if QuadComm acquires, or is acquired by or merged with, another company. In this event, QuadComm will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We use third party companies to process orders online, which will have their own privacy policies. At the moment we use Kagi for online transactions (see Kagi's privacy policy).

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.

QuadComm uses cookies within the web site pages of QuadComm to personalize the service we offer to you and for marketing purposes. In most cases cookies are only stored for the duration of the session and expire when you close the browser or don't use the site for more than 60 minutes.

QuadComm provides links to 3rd party web sites. These 3rd party companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one.

QuadComm may allow certain companies to include banners in our pages. In such cases they may use cookies and store clickstream information. Under no circumstances QuadComm will provide those companies any information that may identify you personally.

Each web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

Disabling / enabling cookies

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies by modifying the settings in your browser.
